Kurgan diocese: new aspects of education and development at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries

The article covers the 70-year period of the history of education and development of the Kurgan Diocese. The question of the formation of the Kurgan Diocese in 1945 and its independent existence until 1958 is raised for the first time. The features of the diocesan administration of the Soviet period are considered. The modern period reveals the stage of the revival of the diocesan structural unit in the territory of the Kurgan region and its further transformation into the metropolis.
