The article reveals the specifics of the activities of qualified investors - individuals, and also analyzes changes in legislation in order to strengthen confidence in the capital market and protect the rights of qualified investors. The Institute of Qualified Investors, created in the Russian Federation in 2007, is an important part of the financial market; professionals who analyze the situation related to investments and modernize legislative acts are constantly working on its improvement. The study contains recommendations on possible changes aimed at increasing the efficiency and stability of domestic demand, integrating innovative technologies in order to strengthen the country’s economy in the face of new challenges and increasing the capitalization of the stock market. The existing regulatory framework, tools offered by large brokers are considered, and an analysis of the requirements imposed on qualified investors in the Russian Federation, the European Union and the United States is conducted.
