L. N. Tolstoy and Mikhail Nuaime. On the problem of the effect of philosophical and religious ideas of the Russian writer on Arabic literature

The article is devoted to the influence of philosophical and religious ideas of L.Tolstoy on the Arabic writer Mikhail Nuaime. The author shows that Mikhail Nuaime more than any Arabic writer before him, creatively perceived Tolstoy as a passionate exposer and a genius artist whose moral, social and philosophical principles are close to him. Tolstoy's attention to the spiritual nature of humans attracted Nuaimy and other Arab writers.
