L2T as a genre of contemporary media

Television is in active search of new ways to attract the attention of the audience, their interest becomes the main criterion of news and analytics. Such definition of the main tasks causes the discussion about boundaries of TV genres, the purpose of news broadcasts, and social responsibility of television. The article discusses the emergence of new genres, corresponding with the requirements of the infotainment and entertainment. Today, from the well-known television genres stands out something that is not yet customary to be called genre, but is difficult to name just a structural element of the television scene because of its completeness, reasonable autonomy and integrity. It is a question about so-called life to tape.
