Landscape and ecological features of the distribution of the main pathogens of helminthoses of sheep in the north-eastern foothills of the Lesser Caucasus

During 2017-2020, a total of 224 sheep heads were examined in the north-eastern regions of the Lesser Caucasus by a complete helminthological autopsy, including 84 heads in the plain zone, 78 heads in the foothill zone and 62 heads in the mountainous zone. As a result of the study, 28 species of helminths were found in them, including 4 species of trematode, 6 species of cestode and 18 species of nematode. All identified species were analyzed both by the extent and intensity of invasion, and by their prevalence in landscape-ecological zones .
