Laser cutting of carbonic composite materials

The abilities of laser radiation to realize the cutting of sheet carbonic materials are researched in this paper. It is theoretically stated and experimentally proved that continuous laser radiation is effective only for cutting of coal-plastics, carbons and carbonic composite materials of 1,5 mm thick. The usage of impulseperiodic radiation with higher frequency of impulses in the multi-pass cutting mode is proposed for laser cutting of more thick carbonic composites.
