Despite the high efficiency of Velcade (bortezomib) injection in treatment of patients with multiple myeloma, the incidence of neurological disorders in the background is significant. The paper presents a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of therapy in patients with multiple myeloma, and their neurological status depending on the application of Velcade treatment regimen, as well as neurological disorders' dependence on the dose of Bortezomib. It is determined that the use of Velcade leads to a significant increase in the frequency of complete response and only slightly affects the frequency of reaching the minimum response. The use of Velcade in the total course dose of more than 50 mg was associated significantly more frequently with stabilization of disease in patients. The use of Bortezomib significantly more frequently has lead to the development of myelopathy, there was a significant correlation between the intake of Velcade and neurological disorders.
