Postoperative infectious complications after primary coxofemoral arthroplasty are often combined with thromboembolic lesions. The causes of these complications are usually associated with a significant increase in intraoperative trauma in the form of fractures of the femur or an unrecognized dislocation of the femoral component of the coxofemoral joint endoprosthesis. Thrombotic complications, along with infectious ones, pose a significant threat to the outcome of surgical treatment of this category of patients. Simultaneous correction of infectious and thromboembolic disorders is extremely important for the overall outcome of the disease and avoids lethality.
