Legitimation of the system of sources (forms) of law

Purpose: The author attempts to clarify the mechanism through which various types of sources (forms) of national law are admitted to the law enforcement process. Methodology: The author has built his theoretical position on the method of materialist dialectics. Results: The author comes to conclusion that the system of sources (forms) of law is being legitimized through legal doctrine, which, while evolving in a particular society in a certain historical period, forms the theoretical construction of the system of sources (forms) of national law. The implementation of this construct in practice sets the vector for the law enforcement. The difference of theoretical constructs determines the difference of the dominant sources (forms) of law for different legal families. Novelty/originality/value: The doctrine of the legitimization of sources (forms) of law is analyzed by the author for the first time.
