The aim of the article is to study the effects on Leibniz influence on formation of or-ganicist concept of early years of V. V. Rozanov. Related to the reading of worksby N.N. Strakhov, in many ways it led to the emergence of natural Rozanov’s phi-losophy. Using Leibniz’s opposition against causality and teleology, Rozanov cameto the conclusion that the scope of the reasons should be limited only by the body;mental processes are regulated by the principle of predesignation. Space and Historyare arranged in a hierarchy of types of creatures in ascending order of predesignationand reasonableness. Thus Rozanov comes to the idea of animate nature and the ideaof sex as a point of connection of spirit and flesh.
