The article discusses the medicinal value of Astargal (Astragalus) in medicine. Astragalus is an extensive genus of perennial herbaceous plants, numbering about 2,500 species and is widely used in folk medicine in Mongolia, China, Korea and Japan, Western Siberia, Transbaikalia, and the Far East.
