On lexemes dew and hoar-frost in Russian and Tatar folk beliefs

This article is devoted to comparative analysis of the lexemes dew and hoar-frost in the Russian and Tatar folk beliefs. The culturological basis of the beliefs is researched, the meanings of the words dew and hoar-frost in the both languages are examined to discuss similarities and difference between them and detailed characteristics of the Russian and Tatar folk beliefs with these lexemes are established.
