The lexicalization of the case forms in the Erzya Mordovian dialects of the Volga and Southern Ural regions is studied in the article. The lexicalization appears in two types: nominal and verbal. The deictic suffix used in these word forms is polyfunctional: on the one hand, it is a determiner suffix, but on the other hand, it is a derivational suffix. The case form that undergoes lexicalization loses the semantics that is typical of the case form. In the sentence, the lexicalized case forms may function as attributes in attributive phrases.
