Lexico-semantic group "flowers" in structural and semantic aspects

The present article considers the problem of the system description for lexical units in the Russian language. The author analysis the composition of the lexical-semantic group "Flowers" and offer to apply a component analysis of the words lexical meaning belonging to one of the subgroups of this semantic union of words. This analysis allows determining the common and distinctive features of blooming plants, which are familiar to representatives of Russian culture and may be of interest to foreigners studying the Russian language and Russian culture.
