Lexical-semantic group with the meaning of “food” in Russian and Chinese

The lexico-semantic group with the meaning “food” is considered. The correspondence of different meanings of words of this lexical-semantic group in the Russian and Chinese languages is explained. Six lexico-semantic subgroups have been identified that correspond to the meaning of “food” for the study of other lexico-semantic fields when comparing languages.
