Forest communities of the Penza city Ahuna locality

The article presents the results of field studies of the landscape structure of forest communities in the Akhuna microdistrict of the city of Penza. On the basis of the Landsat 8 satellite imagery data in the Saga Gis 7.0 GIS processing, the location of the main observation stations is presented. Five main forest communities have been identified, marking the main geosystems of transeluvial and sub-aqval landscapes: pine forests on swollen sand, oak forests of high floodplain; old lakes and their hollows, covered with a willow, of the central floodplain; meadows and beaches of low floodplain; birch and pine-birch forests of the slope of the structural plain of the Sursky Pine. Changes in the composition of the components and structure of these communities are determined, which is associated with the development of the city and the consequences of the construction of the Sura reservoir.
