The forest melioration complex of the water-collecting area of the Gryaznaya River

The study of the forest melioration complex of the water-collecting area of the Gryaznaya river (the Soviet district of the Rostov region) for the development of the protection measures of soils from erosion is conducted. The problems, such as the nonregular distribution, the degradation of field safeguarding forest belt, the decrease of their efficiency by reason of age, the species features and relief, were revealed by the method of the semiautomated classification of the satellite imageries with the help of the algorithm “Random Forest” in QGIS. There are suggested the measures of reconstruction aimed at the decrease of erosion and the increase of perseverance of agricultural landscape in the context of the continental climate.
