L.I. Petrazhitsky: a brief biographical and autobiographical essay

A brief sketch of the life and work of the famous Polish thinker - L.I. Petrazhitsky is offered. It is noted that the sphere of scientific interests of Lev Iosifovich covered a vast field of humanitarian knowledge, including philosophy, psychology, pedagogy, finance, in each of which he brought his vision of current problems and ways to solve them from a legal position. It is emphasized that the success in scientific activity is largely due to the personality traits of a person, his character, talent and passion for his idea, therefore, attention is focused on the biography of the thinker.
