The personality and policy of Otto von Bismarck in the assessments of the Russian empire’s conservative press

The article considers the appreciation of Otto von Bismarck in the conservative press of the Russian empire in the second half of the XIX century - early XX century. An attempt is made to prove that the assessments of the personality and activities of “the Iron Chancellor” were varied and gradually changed under the influence of numerous factors.
