The person of the emperor-passion bearer in public consciousness of the early 20th century Russia

The article adduces the results of the study on detecting a true relationship to Emperor Nicholas II of his contemporary Russian society. According to the author’s method based on content analysis the data of more than 1,300 issues of newspapers and 6,600 types of postcards issued in Russia from 1896 to 1917 have been processed. The results have been shown graphically and published for the first time.
