Personality of criminal: conceptual aspects

The article is devoted to the problem of the adequate formulation the defnition of personality of criminal. It is considered the constitutive features and specifcity of such a person. An importance of the analyzed problem is determined by the necessity of clarifcation and opening social links and socio-psychological dependencies that lead many individuals to criminal acts. This is an essential condition of successful prevention of criminality. The article emphasizes that a study of personality of criminal is one of the most important tasks of Russian criminological science.
