The identity of a sex offender: criminological characteristics

Introduction: the article analyzes data on persons who have committed sexual crimes. Criminological characteristics of a personality of a sex offender are analyzed on the basis of generalization of statistical data in three areas: socio-demographic characteristics (gender, age, education, marital status); social status and functions that reveal the types of activities of an individual in society; moral and psychological properties.
