The leader of the XXI century- is he a «gardener» or a business «conductor»?

The article analyzes the problem of leadership in the dynamic modern economy the issue widely discussed as by scientists at the theoretical level as by managers. There are the following questions in the center of the discussion: what skills, knowledge, competencies should a new leader have, what should be changed in the approaches when training managers of a new format in the conditions where the directive style of “more experienced and competent professional” is been changing by collaboration to realize mission and achieve the vision of organization. The review of the modern scientific and practical publications about leadership done by the authors proves that the new successful manager is a leader who able to think strategically, drives the organization to change and go ahead engaging and motivation people. There is obvious that leadership paradigm change demands the significant changes in the education system, what are these changes - the answer to this question should be found in the nearest future.
