Linguistics markedness of the gender as a socialcultural category

The present research is directed to describe ways of marking the category of the gender by means of linguistic signs on various language levels, and also external and paralinguistic means. We define the basic research's concepts as «the sex», «the social gender», and «the grammatical gender». We analyze the basic directions of gender studies in linguistics and tendencies of display of the sexism in the language. Linguistic markers that are significant for definition of the gender accessory of the native speaker are found out.
