Linguistic means of expressing emotions in English on the example of the comedy series " Friends”

Resume: This article examines the concept of expressiveness in language, as well as ways of expressing expressiveness in the comedy series "Friends". Transcripts of several seasons were analyzed. The examples show the means of expressing emotions at such levels of language as phonetic, morphological, lexical and syntactic.
