A linguistic component of educational content in teaching Russian as a foreign language is considered as a factor defining successful language socialization of migrants. The logosphere of modern Russian youth's culture was analyzed that allowed revealing some contradictions in methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language. Russian students` preferences in reading which became the basis for working out the content of teaching in the form of specially selected educational materials were studied. For the maximumuse of the texts' didactic potential for the developmentof the adequate system of exercises the analysis oftheir linguistic elements was carried out.
