Cultural linguistics aspects of the analysis covering the cultural code of ''head'' somatism in the Russian culture

The article substantiates the reasonability of applying linguistic material, in particular, the phraseological fund, for the reconstruction of cultural codes. The author notes the informational value of the body (somatic) code in the study of the essence of a particular cultural system. The paper justifies the consideration of such an element of the human body as a head that plays a special socio-cultural role in the structure of somatic unity for identification and representation of a human being in general. The undertaken cultural linguistic analysis has shown that the code of 'head'somatism is associated with the ideas of body control, as well as activities, actions, behaviour of a person.
