Linguosemiotic aspect of folk mykonimy description

The article deals with the specificity of figurativeness and motivation of dialect edible fungus names. Relatedness of myconyms to cultural semiotic codes (colour, zoonymic, anthroponymic, ethnic, etc.) is researched. The analysis of estimated different interpretation of mushroom names is given, as well as the reasons for their inclusion into the structure of characteristic linguistic means. Conclusions concerning folk myconyms mythopoetic connotation and their role in expression of symbolic nature image are drawn.
