The review examines the collective monograph “The Subjective Structure of Lyrics” and notes the significance of this work as a final one both in terms of the study of the lyrical genre of literature and in the aspect of studying the category of the subject. The promising nature of the book is highlighted both from the perspective of literary theory and from a historical and literary perspective, which is facilitated by the authors of the monograph’s consideration of a number of specific examples of lyrical contexts and texts, analyzed through their subjective structures.
