Lichens as an indicator of the state of the environment

The article presents information on the content of chlorophyll in the lichen thalli, which has the largest spread on the territory of the Middle Ob region. Indicator of chlorophyll content is the criterion that allows to quickly assess the state of the environment when the reaction of the other components have not yet expressed. The change of chlorophyll content and photosynthetic activity of lichens, is a promising and rapid method of assessing the environment for early diagnosis, when the reaction of the other components have not yet expressed. Determined the types of lichens that can be used in bioindication.
