Literature and social conception of Ancient Rus in the pre-Mongol period

Based on analyzing of Ancient Rus' literary monuments of the pre-mongol period the author has explored the main concepts raised by the Old Russian thinkers (such problems as the rivalry of the princely authority and the Church, the style of monastic life). The author revealed the problem as heresy and double-faith also he noted to forming of the Secular concept, Humanistic and Rationalistic ideas in that period. The author noted that during the fight against the aggressors the Christian theme clearly sounded in imaginative literature and publicism in spite of «the orthodox-heathen double-faith syncretism» being typical for Russian ideology of that period.
