Literary environment of the "Description of new lands, precisely Siberian kingdom and Moskow state" in the Swedish codex Ad 10

In the paper the composition of a Russian manuscript miscellany of the 1680s known as Swedish codex Ad10 which belonged to J. G. Sparfwenfeldt is analyzed. The texts from this manuscript and from some others united by Description of Siberia examined by us are surveyed. Our attention is concentrated on texts presented only in Swedish codex: authentic Russian literary monuments and translation from Polish, Latin, Greek, German languages. The significance of these texts as part of general literary context of Description of Siberia investigated by us is being determined in the paper.
