The article touches upon the refraction of a genre of literary portrait in the novel “Pictures by painter of battle-pieces” by A. A. Prokhanov. Also the article examines the problems of the influence of literary portraits from the novel on the novel’s composition in general on purpose to strengthen the author’s point.
