Literary studies as a science. Basic and auxiliary literary disciplines

Literary Criticism is the science of fiction, the Genesis of literature, the literary process, and the functioning of a work. In this article, we will look at the whole system of literary disciplines that are directly related to each other: literary theory, literary history, and literary criticism. We will see how the theory of literature is based on the evidence of the history of literature and literary criticism and, in turn, equips them with guiding ideas and principles.
