Love and its correlation with rational forms of knowledge of love’s object: a philosophical analysis

Бесплатный доступ

The article is a continuation of our research on love as the highest form of the subject's internal values-based attitude to an object, when the latter is an absolute value for him. The study is based on the concept of "internal values-based attitude of the subject to the object". Love as its highest form involves the forms of empirical cognition of the love’s object by the love subject, namely: experiences, perception, understanding; forms of rational thinking and cognition of the love object by the love subject: concept, ratiocination, statement of reasons; emotions and emotional feelings of the love subject in relation to the love’s object. The article attempts to correlate the concept of love as the highest form of a person's internal values-based attitude to an object precisely with the rational forms of knowledge of the love’s object by the love subject, namely: comprehension, judgment, ratiocination.
