The logic in Russia in the late XIX - early XX centuries: some tendencies and valuations

The article reviews various opinions of specialists in history of Russian philosophy and logic about specific features of the Russian logic in the late XIX - early XX centuries and its development trends. By case study of these opinions the author deduces that logic became a part of systemic philosophical knowledge and educational process. In this regard there is a reason to discuss such phenomenon as “university logic" in the frameworks of which the school of Russian logic was formed (logical and methodological movement of Russian philosophy). The unity and originality of different movements within the school of Russian logic could be examined on the basis of such concepts as “epistemological style" and “image of logic".
