The logic of genre categories in the poetry of the new time

The article points to the intensification of the communicative aspect in the act of genre autoreflection making part of the reader's perception motivations system; the author sets forward a typology of genre reflexives with genre categories viewed as a realization thereof. With reference to national poetry (elegies, poetic prayers, and sonnets), the author traces the logic of genre categories testifying to the change in historic milestones of genre thinking of the New Time.
