Logistical aspects of the development of the urban agglomeration population transport mobility system

The article substantiates promising directions for the development of transport mobility systems for the population of urban agglomerations in the context of increasing urbanization and the consolidation of a polycentric model of the territorial organization of urban space. The principles of management of the development of the transport service system for the population ofan urban agglomeration are proposed as part of the transition to the use of the logistics concept ofnew urban mobility based on the synthesis of the provisions of the theory of city logistics, the concept of sustainable development, and the principles of rational design of urban spaces. Special attention is paid to the issues of infrastructural support of transport processes in the system of transport mobility of the population of large cities and urban agglomerations; applied aspects of the development of the St. Petersburg transport hub from the perspective of the concept of new urban mobility are considered.
