Logistics risks of network structures based on digitalization

The article considers transition of traditional supply chains into network structures and shows how it’s happening in connection with digitalization of economic relations as well as commercial operations. The author emphasizes key advantages of network relations in comparison with traditional dual relations between suppliers and customers. The development of digital platforms and involving Russian companies in digitalization is also analyzed in the article as well main advantages of these processes. Since digital platforms transform traditional commercial operations, the author underlines key problems and logistics risks evolving from participating in digitalization and requiring new measures to deal with these risks.
