Lugansk People’s Republic: reflecting on the socio-political past

The paper notes the importance of understanding the problematic nature of fixing the evolution of socio-political and other constants of the residents of the Lugansk People's Republic, taking into account the duration of the transformation period and, accordingly, the difference in the assessment of these changes by representatives of different generational cohorts. The author presents a conditional periodization of the socio-political evolution of the positioning of Lugansk voters from 1991 to 2014 and the components of the modern history of the LPR from the moment of independence to its incorporation into the Russian Federation.
