The paper has brought to light factors involving recent events in Ukraine considering them with regard to Yuri Burlan’ System Vector psychology. The authors suggest that the factual outcome should be examined from inside mental mechanisms being rooted at the social unconscious of both the Ukrainian and Russian peoples. Only the system thinking while taking into consideration the mental structure and specifics of mentality in our nations, shall enable an observer to precisely perceive regularities of current geopolitical processes, and shall equip a researcher with an efficient device for political forecasting.
