Oil beetles (Coleoptera, Meloidae: Meloe) of the Samara region

The article provides an annotated list and cadastre of oil beetles found in the Samara region. 11 species of oil beetles are presented, of which 4 species were noted for the first time in the region: Meloe scabriusculus Brandt et Erichson, 1832, M. uralensis Pallas, 1777, M. erythrocnemus Pallas, 1781 and M. cicatricosus Leach, 1815. The author's definitive table with illustrative material, photographs of first-instar larvae (triungulins) of M. variegatus and M. aeneus are presented. The triungulin of the M. aeneus is given for the first time for science.
