The article is devoted to the analysis of the lexical methods of the verbalization of the concept in dictionary entries and texts. The concept of JEALOUSY is considered from lingvo-culturological point of view, the dynamics of its semantic development is studied. The major changes in the semantics and distribution of lexical units in lexicosemantic group JEALOUSY are revealed.
