The paper analyzes the market of lighting products in Russia in terms of foreign and Russian companies. The emphasis is on development and introduction of energy saving technologies based on the use of advanced technologies (remote luminescence material) in manufacture of LED products exemplified by the joint Russian-Korean enterprise "NEPES RUS" and the support of the government of the Republic of Mordovia.
