Master plans of the main cities of the Arctic as a tool for realization of land relations in the arctic territories

Throughout 2024, active work was carried out to introduce the institute of master planning into urban planning activities. Master plans for the development of cities in the Far Eastern Federal District have been developed and approved, master plans for the key cities of the Arctic are at the final stages of preparation, and the concept of a master plan is proposed to be enshrined in legislation. The article presents the key stages of modern master planning, analyses the concept of a Master plan, and emphasizes the need to take into account aspects of land legal relations during it developing. The article is dedicated to the memory of E.G.
