A mathematical model for passenger routes recovery after an airline schedule disruption

Бесплатный доступ

The paper presents a mathematical model for solving the problem of airline passenger routes recovery in case of disruption led to missed connections. The model finds alternative routes for delivery of passengers to their destinations with the least possible delay through various airline hubs, taking into account the minimum connection time and the number of available seats on the flights. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach to find optimal passenger reallocation solutions quickly. The model can be integrated into automated decision support systems for airline transfer teams.
