Mathematical dependence of the photon propagation velocity on the optical medium

This article discusses the principle on the basis of which the refraction of the photon flux occurs during the transition from one medium to another. It is shown that the angle of refraction is directly related to the diameter of the photon (wavelength). Based on this principle of refraction, the principle of photon propagation in the medium is proposed. It is shown that the propagation velocity in the medium depends on the angle of deviation of photons from the initial direction of motion, which leads to an increase in the path of photons in the medium and, as a consequence, to an increase in the time of passage of a medium of a certain thickness. And, based on the proposed principles of refraction and propagation, the mathematical dependence of the photon velocity on the optical medium in which they propagate is derived.
