The article deals with the formation of structural features of the plasma thermal coatings, called mezolattice-ordered. Shows the effect of this structure to ensure high performance properties under variable mechanical and thermal loading of the surface. Based on mathematical modeling of shock and subsequent plastic deformation of sprayed particles, an analytical relation finding relation between the degree of deformation of the particle and the coefficient of volume transformation from the particle velocity and mechanical characteristics for the case of plastic reinforcement material.
