Materials for the catalog of the stock collection of ambhibias (Amphibia) of the Institute of ecology of the Volga basin RAS

The results of an inventory of stock materials of amphibians of the Institute of Ecology of the Volga Basin of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a branch of the Samara FRC RAS, are presented. The formation of the collection fund began in 2001. The collection of samples was replenished with specimens donated by other collectors after helminthological dissection, as well as amphibians found dead, and tissue samples collected intravitally. The funds include collections of specimens of amphibians from the Zhigulevsky Nature Reserve and collection fees of V.A. Krivosheev. Currently, the collection of amphibians at the IEVB RAS includes 2816 specimens, representing 14 taxa of species rank.
