The data of population censuses in Yakutsk region (late 19th - early 20th centuries) as a historical source

The article presents the results of the research considering the first general census of 1897 and agricultural census of 1917 in the Yakutsk region as a historical source. The author reviews primarily the archival sources that have not been yet the object of the scientific study. The main objective of the research is to study the extant archival material of the censuses, as well as to determine their authenticity.
